Material Layout & Preparation

Starting in Winter  2023, all Ebanista students will be required to take this workshop prior to their first Beginnings II class. It is also highly recommended for anyone past the Beginnings II level who does not feel they have achieved a high skill level in material preparation. It has become more and more clear to us over the years that many students, even in upper level classes, still find this VERY essential part of working to be challenging. We will go over careful layout as well as marking and preparing work before and during projects. It is this work that will make all future work safer, more accurate, and more beautiful. It will also save a lot of wasted time and material.
